Buckle up for a ‘JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME’ brought to you by the Canadian electronic music duo — ZEDS DEAD. Led by Dylan Mamid, (known as DC), and Zachary Rapp-Rovan (known as Hooks), the “Somewhere Else” and “Northern Lights” record producers are down to share a career-spanning set of their biggest hits, deep cuts, and recent releases in a night that take you on a wild ride through their electric journey in music. From their MySpace throwbacks to festival anthems, these fellas have it all. Working their way from the ground up, all driven by their passion for fiery beats, Zeds Dead’s EDM transformation through the years is no ordinary feat.
“Journey of a Lifetime’ is one of the first tracks we uploaded to the World Wide Web as Zeds Dead way back in 2009,” the duo shared in an official statement. “This journey is your journey with us as well… We’ve created a world together and the ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ tour aims to be our most thorough exploration of it.”
Marking their biggest tour to date, Zeds Dead reveals that they’re making the most out of this tour by performing in huge outdoor venues — right before they take some time off in 2027. “‘Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning,’” they quoted a beat they sampled before.
It’s bound to be the greatest show they’ve ever produced, “It will be the grand finale of everything we’ve been working on,” the duo said. Teasing all-out production, stage designs, and new music, it’s one hell of a way to cap off all their hard work over the last years. While they’ve clarified that this isn’t the end, it’s the best way to get some closure before they take some time off, right before turning the page towards a new chapter in Zeds Dead’s book.
