Well well well folks - Before & After the show, we’ve been OOZING with excitement as we make our way here to our open air Ascend Amphitheater for all of us to enjoy the summer at. Located right here in the heart of downtown Nashville - the Ascend has been our chapel of all things audio since first opening up decades ago. A place to pillage with our besties and sit in the grass to experience all things cool - we have a history of bringing in some of the most eclectic new acts from the Nashville scene all the way to the greats. And for our Summer 2026 season - we’re keeping allllll that same energy! Especially when we bring Charlie Puth - our all American pop boy - right here to the stage for his Whatever’s Clever 2026 Tour. Charlie is ready to roll - and he’s ALSO bringing out the band Lawrence and Ally Salort out too for nights on stage singing about Swiss Army Knives and Seeing You again. From Fast and Furious bops to slow melodics we all cry to - we NEED you right here in the middle of the crowd : ‘cause when they’re gone, they’re gone! Hitting stages all over the globe from San Diego to Pompei - we can’t wait to see you, to have you come this way! 

So - who is our lovely motley crew that will be singing us songs all night long on the 9th?! Let’s start with the lead man : Charlie! From viral YouTube covers recorded in a New Jersey bedroom to global chart domination, Charlie Puth’s rise has been anything but accidental. After breaking through with See You Again, he quickly proved himself as a meticulous songwriter, producer, and pop craftsman, shaping hits built on melody, muscle memory hooks, and studio precision. Now, with multiple albums and eras behind him, Charlie hits the road as a fully realized headliner - bringing his pop universe to life, night after night - and definitely is a must see. And next up? Lawrence! Lawrence began as a true family project, formed by siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence who grew up writing songs together long before streaming algorithms entered the picture. What started as a scrappy, DIY pop-soul band evolved into a full-blown touring force known for powerhouse vocals, funk-leaning grooves, and a fiercely loyal fanbase - who we fully expect to come out when he hits the stage here this summer. Ally Salort represents the newest chapter in this lineup:  a modern artist who built momentum through intimate songwriting, online connection, and a steadily growing catalog of emotionally sharp pop tracks. Emerging from the indie space with a deeply personal voice, Ally’s rise reflects how artists break through today: one song, one listener at a time.
