Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier rejoices in victory from the sensational reception of his newest record, Djesse Vol. 4, the final installment of his signature “Djesse” series. Returning to the United States this Fall 2025 after a globe-trotting tour through the Americas, Europe, and Asia, he welcomes one and all to join him in two exclusive nights of orchestra, which highlights an October 14th concert with special guest Chris Thile and the Nashville Symphony only at the Ascend Amphitheater!

Winner of eight Grammys, including Best Arrangement for his a capella rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge over Troubled Water” at the 67th annual ceremonies, Jacob Collier offers jazzy classical-pop music of soul-stirring depth and harmony. His upcoming performance on Tuesday will be a triumphant one as he recalls prized covers of “You and I” by Stevie Wonder, “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie, and theme songs from the cartoon series “The Flintstones” and the Academy-winning 1961 romcom movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” Collier’s original hits feature “He Won't Hold You,” which clinched his fifth consecutive Grammy Award, with some incredible songwriting feats in singles such as “With The Love in My Heart” and “Time To Rest Your Weary Head.” Ears are also honing into the English artist’s latest compositions from his fifth full-length album, showing off his viral collaboration with Lizzy McAlpine and John Mayer — “Never Gonna Be Alone.”

Grammy-winning mandolinist/singer/composer Chris Thile joins Collier as an honored guest, brandishing his virtuosic contributions to progressive bluegrass. Co-founder of Nickel Creek and the Punch Brothers, this musician is distinguished for the Top 3 Billboard Bluegrass solo albums Deceiver and How to Grow a Woman from the Ground, issued along the mid-aughts. Orchestral backing comes from the Nashville Symphony under principal conductor Giancarlo Guerrero. This iteration of the historic ensemble shares a crossover philosophy toward mainstream and classical music with our headliner, as evidenced by Grammy Award-winning performances of Christopher Rouse’s “Symphony No. 5” and music from Made in America by Joan Tower.

The Ascend Amphitheater invites you to an evening with Jacob Collier and special guest Chris Thile with the Nashville Symphony. Book tickets for this astounding concert event, enhanced by our venue’s atmospheric light shows, exceptional acoustics, and other five-star amenities.
