Creed, Tonic & Finger Eleven at Ascend Amphitheater

After a dozen years on hiatus, a certain GRAMMY Award-winning band confirms a return to the road that’s about to take 2024 by storm! Put on a thunderous round of applause as Creed sets off on their long-overdue “Summer of ‘99 Tour,” a Live Nation-produced series of shows slated to hit 40 cities across North America, featuring a supporting cast of rock icons.

The tour’s stop in Nashville will land on a Tuesday night, August 13th, at the Ascend Amphitheater — an intimately staged 6,800-capacity outdoor venue sporting fantastic sightlines and world-class acoustics under the breathtaking expanse of the Tennessee sky.

Join frontman Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer “Flip” Phillips, and bassist Brian Marshall in a reunion celebrating Creed’s contributions to the history of rock music! This forthcoming concert will allow audiences to revisit their genre-shaping discography, which features a legendary string of multi-platinum albums during the turn of the new millennium: My Own Prison (1997), Human Clay (1999), and Weathered (2001).

During the wake of a stagnant post-grunge era, Creed separated themselves from the pack with an unapologetic hard-rock approach led by Stapp’s soaring vocals, earning them two Favorite Alternative Artist wins from the American Music Awards. Listen to the group’s #1 Billboard Mainstream Rock hits, such as “What's This Life For,” “Higher,” “My Sacrifice,” and the 43rd GRAMMY Awards’ Best Rock Song “With Arms Wide Open,” in a night teeming to the brim with acoustic adrenaline and cathartic nostalgia.

Alternative rock band Tonic, best known for their 1997 Mainstream Rock #1 single “If You Could Only See,” will play a special opening act rife with a rootsy post-grunge reverb that originated from their Platinum-certified Lemon Parade LP.

Meanwhile, Juno Award-winning quintet Finger Eleven will follow up with the dance funk-infused alt-rock efforts that defined their iconic 2007 album Them vs. You vs. Me and its 5x Platinum Canadian Rock #1 hit “Paralyzer.”
